Marshmallow MTB was born when my partner and I put a helmet on our ever-patient yellow lab, Marshmallow... and she smiled.  We snapped a photo that became our logo and thus we started down the long path of learning how to start a business (something even Marshmallow didn't know anything about at the time).

We were also motivated by the lack of formal mountain biking classes and instruction in Austin and central Texas.  We wanted better resources for beginner riders than the plethora of confusing YouTube videos and poorly written articles.  There is no replacement for hands-on guided practice.  After riding for many years and being inspired by our dog, we got our BICP instructor certification and dropped in!

Our goal at Marshmallow MTB is to provide consistent, structured training to help riders improve, ride more safely, and have more fun!
